Diane R. Garavaglia joined Performance Concepts in 2005, after working in the educational research and assessment arena for over 14 years. Her employment path has taken her down several avenues, including managing large and complex projects and traveling abroad to provide hands-on training and evaluation expertise in Brazil, Ethiopia, and Zambia. Her practical, theoretical, and logistical sense of education projects comes from her direct experience leading project development, administration, and operations efforts. A more recent career path has led her to entrepreneurial adventures in sales and business ownership. Diane serves on various committees in the areas of education and professional development and has been invited to present at national and international conferences.
Diane earned her B.S. in Psychology from Iowa State University in 1989. She earned her M.A. in Statistics and Research Design from Michigan State University in 1992, where she also earned her Ph.D. in Measurement and Quantitative Methods in 2001. Her recent association with Performance Concepts, Inc. allows her to use her educational knowledge and training, and her business and management instinct and experience to foster and grow the ideals of the company and our clients. She has an interest in effective communication and teamwork. Her 'get it done' attitude and her ability to see opportunity where others may see barriers guide her daily decision-making behaviors.
