Hedda T. Schupak is a market analyst, consultant, and speaker in the fine jewelry industry.
The award-winning former editor-in-chief of JCK magazine, Hedda has covered trends in the fine jewelry and fashion industries for more than two decades, first as JCK’s fashion editor, and then as editor of its Luxury International magazine and founding editor of its first fashion-focused publication, TRENDZ. In 2000, she took the helm as editor-in-chief and editorial director of the entire JCK International Publishing Group.
She is a popular lecturer in the jewelry industry and has given more than 100 presentations at major international jewelry shows, regional conventions and manufacturers’ and jewelry store managers’ meetings. She has been a guest columnist for trade and consumer magazines in Italy, Japan, Australia, Brazil, and the United States, and is regularly quoted by the general media including outlets such as the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, the Philadelphia Inquirer, and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, as well as on television in the United States and abroad.
One of the industry’s leading advocates, Hedda sits on the board of the national Women’s Jewelry Association and the advisory board of the Diamond Empowerment Fund. She is a member of the 24 Karat Club of the City of New York, and The Fashion Group International.
Inducted into the Women’s Jewelry Association Hall of Fame in 2006, Hedda has won more than two dozen awards for her journalism, business expertise and advocacy of the jewelry industry, including Trade Press Editor of the Year by the Jewelry Information Center and a Best 50 Women in Business award from the Pennsylvania Department of Commerce.
